The Cachivache Quintet is currently one of the most popular tango groups and is widely recognized on the world music circuit. Sometimes called 'Tango Punk' ', the group is characterized by its undeniably creative, original, and very “danceable '' style. Greatly implicated in the Buenos Aires tango dance community, they hold their own milonga once a week every Monday where the band plays and the musicians Dj. Majo Martirena – she started dancing tango to 16 years of age in her native country, Uruguay. Together, with the DNI Company, conducted countless shows and presentations in the most recognized theatre and milongas of Argentina. For the few last years, she has being teaching and dancing in many festivals around the world with Rodrigo Fonti. R. Fonti – energetic, creative, funny and passionate tango dancer born in southern Argentina. His constant research in the study of the art of motion in the language of tango as a unique language in this dance led him to find a solid mix between traditional and modern tango. Dancers are constantly studying the roles and how to empower them. Looking for a dance fueled by the sincerity and freshness, being present in every moment.
